My AP Literature class and I made an iMovie in a Day this week centering around the literacy skill of annotating. I took a set of annotation directions, parsed it up into sections, assigned different groups each section, gave them around 5-8 minutes to plan their shots, and then filmed away.
It took thirty minutes in class one day, ten minutes the next, ten minutes of preplanning shots and narration, and a period afterwards to finish editing. Here goes:
